The part that works out contributions has no mention of EPF, SOCSO or PCB anywhere in it, and it stores each contribution as a row rather than as a column with a scheme name on it — a column named EPF is Malaysia baked into the database. A check fails the build if one appears, so it is not something a reviewer has to spot.

Because a zero is indistinguishable from a correct answer, and a payslip is paid before anybody checks it. A refusal that names the employee and the missing fact costs somebody five minutes; a wrong figure that was already transferred costs a correction, a re-filing, and an explanation.

We add the new rate with the date it starts, where we read it, and when. The old one is left alone. A run from before that date keeps using the rate that was in force then, which is why a payslip from two years ago still adds up.

Yes — you say the new thing, with a date on it. Nothing is rubbed out, so the record shows both what you knew then and what you know now. That difference is exactly what an auditor is asking about.

Malaysia is the one that is live. The maths underneath has never known what a country is, so a second country is a second plug-in written to the same published spec — not a separate copy of PEOPLE.
